The City of Tamarac will open applications for its 2025 First-Time Homebuyer Purchase Assistance Program on June 2, 2025.

This program offers eligible buyers a 15-year, 0% interest, deferred payment second mortgage. No monthly payments are required, and the loan is completely forgiven if the homebuyer remains in the property for the full 15 years.
Applicants are required to be approved for a mortgage and be under contract for a property located within the City of Tamarac.
